1st annual wise wheels poker run

​Join us for the inaugural Wise Wheels Poker Run, a thrilling community event benefiting Meals on Wheels Wise County. This unique motorcycle ride combines scenic stops, fun activities, and a classic poker game—all for a great cause: supporting local seniors.

Event Overview

Participants will ride through Wise County, stopping at themed checkpoints to draw playing cards. The goal? Build the best poker hand by the end of the route. Along the way, enjoy games, food trucks, and local landmarks. All vehicles are welcome!

  • Start Location: OWLS Activity Center, 1200 N Miller St, Decatur, TX

  • Finish Line: Meals on Wheels Kitchen, 400 S Hovey St, Decatur, TX

  • Time: Rider check-in begins at 9:00 AM; kickstands up at 9:30 AM

  • Final Card Draw & BBQ: Begins at 3:00 PM at the finish line

  1. Aurora – UFO/Alien Theme
    Sci-fi trivia, food trucks

  2. Cottondale Cemetery – Machine Gun Kelley Theme
    Cornhole games, food trucks

  3. Bridgeport – Scavenger Hunt
    Explore murals, museums, and local gems

  4. Greenwood – Local Landmark
    Visit the historic Greenwood Grocery

  5. Finish – Meals on Wheels Kitchen​​

Final card draw, BBQ Dinner, Music, Raffle, 50/50​

Rules

  • Riders must check in at the start to receive their event packet.

  • One card is drawn at each checkpoint; best 5-card poker hand wins.

  • No cheating or trading cards—honor system applies.

  • Helmets and safety gear are strongly encouraged.

  • All traffic laws must be followed; this is not a race.

  • Rain or shine event—no refunds.

Please note that the pay system we are using will suggest a 15% gratuity, but with the drop down you can enter "0" to eliminate the fee.
