The Wise County Committee on Aging provides meal services to homebound seniors and others -- and that need is growing as Wise County is growing. Our meal service enables seniors to enjoy a hot meal delivered to their place of residence, as well as the opportunity to interact with the volunteer bringing food to their door. In many cases this is the only human interaction they have that day.

Hello, my name is teresa Roberts
I was born in Dallas Texas and have lived in Wise County for twenty-two years now. My husband and I still reside in Chico Texas today.
I first hired on with WCCA three years ago in the kitchen. Cooking has always been a hobby of mine and I really enjoy it. Getting the opportunity to serve the seniors is truly a rewarding job; it matters!! What we do really matters. Everyone here at WCCA has a heart for what they do. I love what I do here; of course there are always life’s challenges. Whether its being short staffed or bad weather, we always make it through another day.
